I've been been prepping a while now and am discovering that, in the long run, it's just easier to buy canned goods. Store, eat and restock as needed. Anyone else doing this? I feel that these days the cost vs time to do it otherwise outweighs the "home grown" feel. My prep consist of every day needs, no envelope food here. We eat now, what we will be eating in the apocalypse times. A good example is; canned potatoes. Makes great hashnrowns. I can buy one simple, 15oz can for $0.69 cents...
